* Dual Scoop Functional Ram Air Hood *Fully Integrated Ram Air Channel internal to hood - no extra bolt on channels to buy *This system will add approximately 10-15hp. (Some customers claim even more!) *Available with or without built in heat extractor vents for extra engine cooling capability and a cooler engine means a longer life *Fully Functional - interfaces through Sealed Air Path or Cold Air Intake - This Suncoast PT Cruiser Hood does not require an optional ram air kit like so many other brands. Suncoast creates a fully functional Sealed Air Path Ram Air system. The hood interfaces to your engine's air intake system by adapting to the OEM air cleaner assembly. The hood will come with complete instructions, templates and sealing gasket to create your Seal Air Path Ram Air system. All you need to add is an air filter to keep out the dust and the critters. (We recommend K&N RC 4340 for non-turbo and 33-2022 for turbo models). *Uses stock mounting hardware - no need for new brackets or special struts. *Comes in a white gel coat finish ready for paint and prep
